KiqFresh is a UK-based postal shoe cleaning service. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide to us through this website.

1 What data we collect

When you book a clean:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Shoe type, service selection, and any special instructions you provide
• Photos of your shoes (optional, if you upload them)
• Whether you opted in to marketing communications

When you sign up to our email list:

• Email address only

When you browse this website:

• Google Fonts loads font files from Google's servers. Google may log your IP address as part of this request. We have no control over or access to this data

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics on this website.

2 Why we collect it & legal basis

Booking data is collected to fulfil the shoe cleaning service you requested. The legal basis is performance of a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Marketing emails are only sent if you explicitly ticked the opt-in box on our booking form, or signed up via our email list. The legal basis is consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us or clicking unsubscribe in any email we send.

3 How we use your data

• To process and fulfil your shoe cleaning booking
• To communicate with you about your order (confirmation, updates, return tracking)
• To send you exclusive offers and cleaning tips, only if you opted in
• We will never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own marketing

4 Third-party processors

Form submissions on this website are processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com). When you submit a booking or sign up to our email list, your data passes through Web3Forms' servers and is delivered to us by email. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf.

We recommend reviewing Web3Forms' privacy policy for details on how they handle data in transit.

No other third parties receive your personal data.

5 How long we keep your data

• Booking records: retained for 2 years from the date of your booking to handle any queries or disputes
• Marketing list: retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email

After these periods, your data is permanently deleted.

All form submissions are made over HTTPS (encrypted in transit). We implement Content Security Policy headers, input validation, rate limiting, and spam filtering to protect against unauthorised access and abuse.

We do not store your data in a database on this website, submissions are delivered directly to us by email and managed securely from there.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
